"Susan Hainanese Chicken is a popular Singapore cafe in Hong Kong. There is always a line up in front of the store during lunch hours. We waited around 15 mins and got seated, not too bad on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered half Hainanese chicken with rice combo. It comes with winter melon soup, and you can customize the combo by adding appetizers, vegetables, desserts, or toast. We add the toast with thick butter for an extra $19. The chicken is very tasty, especially with all the 3 sauces. Price is also reasonable. Highly recommended to try out!"

"Thanks to Kie decided to have a try at this 苏山雞飯! actually this restaurant doesn't need too much recommendation as judging from the queue during peak lunch time it is already very popular amongst hong kong people and even tourists. in fact its menu offer some very wet appetite dishes and drinks, among which my favourite is the 火焰醬香椰子雞窩 using coconut water mixed with chinese wine mao toi 茅台 added to flesh chicken meat was extremely tempting and delicious! i consider a must at this restaurant ◆please give me a 'like' if you find my review useful, thanks a lot!"

"Rendang beef was good, though would have been better if it was spicier. Fried prawn roll was tasteless…only saved by the accompanying sauce. Rice was blend as well…along with its super salty anchovies. Probably opt for the chicken rice next time round. Didn’t have to wait cos I went early."

"Authentic Hainan chicken rice Chicken is tender, rice is pleasantly dry and fragrant, sauce is perfectly balanced. The pistachio coconut milkshake appeared in relatively small portion but it was surprisingly filling, and the coconut flavor stands out. It would be helpful if they indicate clearly the starting time of the afternoon tea session."

"The restaurant has a stylish South-East Asian decor and uses QR codes for ordering. They offer a wide variety of Singaporean and Malaysian cuisine. During our visit, they had an afternoon tea promotion where you could order discounted small snacks after ordering a main dish. The portion sizes for the afternoon tea were comparable to regular lunch portions, and the prices for drinks and snacks were reasonable, averaging around HK$60-70. It was a great value for money. The Butter and Kaya Toast had a crispy exterior with generous slices of butter and flavorful kaya jam, creating a sweet and satisfying taste. The Snack Platter included Thai fish cakes, fried chicken wings, crispy fried prawn spring rolls, and Hue-style pork skewers, all delicious and well-prepared. The Light and Savory Bak Kut Teh had a strong pepper flavor with tender pork ribs that soaked up the flavorful broth. The Singapore Laksa with Assorted Ingredients was highly recommended, with a rich shrimp soup base and a variety of toppings, providing a savory and addictive taste. The Nonya Curry Fried Chicken with Coconut Milk Rice was indulgent yet delicious, with crispy skin, tender meat, and flavorful curry. For dessert, the Coffee Mint Ice Cream had a rich coffee taste, complemented by refreshing mint. The Pandan Milk Tea with Ice Cream was aromatic and smooth, enhanced by a scoop of vanilla ice cream."

"The Hainan chicken from here is really good. The atmosphere of the store is nice as well so I think it’s a nice place to go for dates or with friends and family . The prices are little higher than other places but it’s worth it in my opinion. They also have really nice desserts and special drinks on offer. You also won’t be dissatisfied with the flavors"

"Be prepared that you need to queue up for your table but you will find it worth. We ordered the Signature Hainanese Chicken set and the Rendang beef with bone. Both were amazing especially the beef, not only the 10 inch long bone, but the taste was a surprise. Highly recommended."
